Hormonal changes can affect women differently. Hot flashes, night sweats, disrupted sleep, mood changes, changes in sexual health, fatigue, cognitive concerns and shifts in body composition can influence daily life—but these symptoms may also have other causes.
ISWI provides a respectful, individualized evaluation designed to understand your experience, health history, stage of life and goals before discussing potential treatment options.
· We listen carefully before recommending care.
· We avoid one-size-fits-all hormone protocols.
· We consider symptoms, history, risks, goals and appropriate clinical findings together.
· We explain options in clear language so you can make an informed decision.
· We incorporate ongoing follow-up and monitoring when treatment is prescribed.
· We can connect hormone-health goals with appropriate nutrition, movement, recovery and wellness support.
· Hot flashes or night sweats.
· Changes in menstrual patterns or symptoms associated with perimenopause.
· Sleep disruption, fatigue or changes in energy.
· Mood changes, irritability or difficulty concentrating.
· Vaginal or urinary symptoms and changes in sexual health.
· Changes in body composition, strength or recovery.
· Questions about menopause, hormone therapy and healthy aging.
Hormone care is not based on symptoms alone or a single “optimal” laboratory number. Your clinician may consider:
· Your symptoms, menstrual and reproductive history, and stage of life.
· Personal and family medical history.
· Current medications, supplements and previous hormone use.
· Cardiovascular, clotting, breast, uterine and other relevant risk factors.
· Sleep, stress, activity, nutrition, sexual health and quality-of-life goals.
· Physical examination, preventive-care status and laboratory testing when indicated.
Depending on the evaluation, recommendations may include education, lifestyle measures, coordination with another clinician, nonhormonal strategies or hormone therapy. If hormone therapy is considered, the clinician will explain the potential benefits, risks, alternatives, route of administration and required monitoring.
No treatment is appropriate for every woman. The decision should be individualized and revisited over time as symptoms, goals and health status change.

Laboratory testing is useful in certain situations, but it is not the only part of an evaluation. The clinician will determine what is appropriate based on your history, symptoms and stage of life.
Hormone therapy has potential benefits and risks. Safety depends on the individual, the clinical indication, health history, type of therapy and ongoing monitoring. Your clinician will discuss these factors with you.
Hormone care is not a guaranteed weight-loss treatment. Changes in body composition are influenced by many factors. Medical weight management can be discussed separately when appropriate.
No. Women may request evaluation during perimenopause, menopause or other times when symptoms or health concerns warrant a medical discussion.
Not automatically. Treatment is recommended only after an appropriate evaluation and when the clinician determines that benefits are likely to outweigh risks.
You do not have to sort through conflicting hormone information by yourself. Request an individualized women’s hormone-health consultation at ISWI Medical Wellness.
